Two More Arrests in Fatal Ilford Brawl That Killed Romanian Man
Police have made two further arrests as they hunt for witnesses to the brutal murder of Sandel Serbu, 36, in Ilford. The Romanian national, who recently moved to Barking, died after a savage attack following a fight on High Road near Connaught Road at 2:48am on Sunday, 12 November.
Brutal Blow to the Head Proved Fatal
Police confirmed that a post-mortem at East Ham Mortuary found blunt force trauma to Sandel’s head caused his death. He was attacked while getting out of a car where he was a passenger.
Three Men Arrested Amid Ongoing Investigation
On 20 November, cops arrested two men, aged 43 and 27, on suspicion of murder. The 43-year-old has since been released under investigation, while the 27-year-old remains in custody. An earlier 27-year-old suspect arrested on 17 November was released without charges.
