Cyclist left fighting for his life after Crash involving Police Traffic Car in Portsmouth

Police are investigating a road traffic collision, which happened at the junction of Bradford Road and Victoria Road North, at around 12.20am today (26 Jan). A BMW police Traffic car , a white Ford Focus and a cyclist were involved in the collision. The cyclist was taken to Southampton General Hospital with leg and spinal injuries. Bradford Road and Victoria Road North from the junction with Winston Churchill Avenue and St David’s Road are closed. A 24-year-old man from Middlesex has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
