Drink-Drive BMW Police Car Crash Seriously Injures Cyclist in Southampton
Chaos erupted in Southampton at around 12.20am on 26 January after a BMW police traffic car smashed into a cyclist and a white Ford Focus at the junction of Bradford Road and Victoria Road North.
Cyclist Rushed to Hospital with Serious Injuries
The cyclist suffered leg and spinal injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital. Authorities have shut down Bradford Road and Victoria Road North between Winston Churchill Avenue and St David’s Road as investigations continue.
Man Arrested Over Drink-Driving Crash
A 24-year-old man from Middlesex has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
