Cyclist injured following Faversham collision

Witnesses to a collision that left a cyclist injured in Seasalter are being urged to contact officers. Kent Police was called at 4.17pm on Tuesday 8 May 2018 following the incident on Faversham Road, near the Sportsman pub, which also involved a white Mercedes. The car is reported to have left the scene after the collision. The cyclist, a woman in her 60s, was taken to a local hospital with injuries to her head and shoulder. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 08-0901. Alternatively call Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
