Four People attacked in Broadstairs

Police Officers are investigating a disturbance in which four people were assaulted in the Broadstairs area appealing for witnesses to come forward. Kent Police was called to a disturbance in Harbour Street at 3.37pm on Sunday 6 May. It was reported a group of people were involved in an altercation on the beach by Viking Bay before they dispersed into surrounding streets. Police attended the scene and a man in his 20s was found with an injury to his face, who attended a local hospital as a precaution. Following enquiries, it was reported a further three men had been assaulted during the incident, one of which, a man in his 50s, had sustained cuts and bruises to his face. Two 18-year-old men from Rochester were arrested, one for affray and the other for assault. They have been released on police bail until 18 May pending further enquiries.
