Tragedy in Teddington: Woman Found Dead After Fire

Detectives are hunting for answers after a fatal blaze rocked a Teddington home in the early hours of Wednesday 22 August. Police and emergency services rushed to Mays Road just after 1am, only to discover a 73-year-old woman dead inside.

Victim Identified as Carole Harrison

Officers believe the victim is Carole Harrison, the resident of the property, though formal ID is pending. Her family have been informed of the devastating news.

Signs of Assault Discovered

A post-mortem at Kingston Mortuary on 23 August revealed injuries suggesting an assault, but the exact cause of death remains unknown pending further tests.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“We want to hear from anyone who saw Mrs Harrison on the day before the fire, especially if she was with anyone,” said Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard.

There have been no arrests so far. Detectives urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.
