Breaking News Police extend Ramsgate closures
The police cordon around Charlotte Court, off Harbour Street in Ramsgate have been extended to about 100 metres after suspicious materials were found in a flat this afternoon. Police were called at 3:26pm. A bomb disposal robot is being used to examine items at the scene. Police say they’ve evacuated Charlotte Court, Harbour Street, York Street and Queen Street due to an ongoing incident involving suspicious objects in a flat. Ramsgate Leisure Centre has been set up as an emergency centre for residents evacuated from their homes.
