Man charged and remanded over serial burglaries

Officers investigating a number of burglaries have charged a 35 year-old man. Daniel Bryan Thornton of St Michaels Road in Park Gate has been charged with six offences of burglary in relation to break ins at Gordon Road in Curdridge between 10 and 11 November 2018. Two properties on Gaylyn Way in Fareham on 16 November 2018. Clayhall Road in Gosport on 19 March 2019. Lower Spinney in Fareham on 20 March 2019 Ranvilles Lane in Fareham on 17 April 2019. In addition he has been charged with an offence of acquiring, using, or possessing criminal property. Thornton has been remanded to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Tuesday 7 May.
