Gunfire Rocks Woodford Green: Man Critical After Late-Night Shooting
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Police are hunting for witnesses after a shooting in Woodford Green left a man critically injured. Officers were called to Malvern Drive at 11.30pm on Thursday, 11 July, following reports of gunshots.
Victim in Hospital
Armed police found a 41-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where his condition remains critical. No arrests have been made so far, and police are tight-lipped about the motive.
Investigators Follow Multiple Leads
Detectives from Trident and Area Command are leading the probe into the shocking attack. Detective Chief Inspector Nicky Arrowsmith said:
“This is a fast-paced investigation and officers are following a number of lines of enquiry. The shooting happened at a residential property in Malvern Drive. Were you around at that time? Did you see anything unusual or anyone fleeing the scene?”
