Shock Hyde Park Corner Crash: Woman Pinned in Shocking Road Rage Incident
Police are hunting witnesses after a woman was seriously hurt in a shocking collision at Hyde Park Corner, central London. The drama unfolded around 8.15pm on Sunday, 11 August, when a Land Rover allegedly drove deliberately at the woman, pinning her against a Mercedes.
Victim Hurt, Man Arrested After Road Rage Chaos
The woman, believed to be in her mid-40s, was rushed to a central London hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening but could be life-changing. The Mercedes involved then smashed into a stationary bus. Luckily, no one on the bus was hurt.
Officers arrested a 23-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of affray after Taser was deployed during the arrest. He’s now also facing charges of GBH and driving while disqualified. The suspect remains in custody at a central London police station.
Second Man Taken to Hospital, Police Seek Witnesses
Another man at the scene felt unwell and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged. Police continue to investigate this bizarre and violent incident.
