Serious Crash on Isle of Wight: Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a serious smash on the Isle of Wight last Thursday night (17 September).
Crash Details
Between 9pm and 9.15pm, a blue Citroen C1 veered off Briddlesford Road, near the Combley Road junction, between Downend and Wootton. The car ended up in a nearby field.
Driver Injured
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Sandown, was seriously hurt and remains in hospital receiving treatment.
