Blaze Destroys Outbuilding Near Canterbury
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to Goldups Lane, Shottenden, after reports of an outbuilding fire near Canterbury. Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier tackled the flames.
Swift Action Stops Fire Spreading
Firefighters used a hose reel jet, main jet, and water from a nearby hydrant to douse the blaze. Their quick response prevented the flames from spreading to a nearby home.
Electrical Fault Sparks Fire
The fire destroyed the outbuilding and is believed to have started due to an electrical fault. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
