Man Airlifted After Brutal Baseball Bat Attack in South East London

A man was airlifted to hospital after a savage baseball bat attack at a travellers site in South East London on Sunday afternoon.

The seriously injured 33-year-old managed to stagger to a nearby green where paramedics treated him before the flying doctors whisked him away to a London hospital for urgent care.

Blood-Soaked Police Seal Off Scene

A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, described seeing a police officer with blood-covered hands putting up cordon tape. The attack has shocked the community.

Police Investigate Assault, No Arrests Yet

The Met Police confirmed officers were called to Thistlebrook, SE2 shortly after 3pm on Sunday, 29 December following reports of an assault.
