Regency Radio is buzzing as they welcome John Mann to their presenter lineup. Born and bred in Brighton, John brings decades of radio passion straight to the South Coast airwaves.
From Schooldays to Radio Stardom
John’s love for radio kicked off back in school, inspired by legendary stations like Radio Caroline and Radio 123. He cut his teeth in iconic local clubs such as The Birds Nest, Seven Stars, and Radio Top Shop on Western Rd, all while working as a lifeguard on Hove Beach.
His journey took him overseas to Canadian radio before returning home to host regional shows on BBC Radio 123 and other BBC stations.
Back Home With “John Mann’s Treasure Chest”
Now settled in the countryside with his wife Alison and their furry friends, John is back where it all began. His new show, John Mann’s Treasure Chest, airs every Monday at 7 PM exclusively on Regency Radio.
Expect a vibrant mix of Soul, Motown, Rock, Reggae, and plenty of surprises to keep listeners hooked.
