Police Officer Slapped with Final Written Warning Over Drink-Drive Gaffe

Drink-Drive Guilty Plea

Detective Constable Francis Ansuh from the Central Specialist Crime Command copped a final written warning after a special case hearing wrapped up on Friday, 28 February. Back in November 2019, DC Ansuh faced Barkingside Magistrates’ Court, pleading guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit.

Fines and Penalty Points

The officer was hit with a £500 fine and a £50 victim surcharge. On top of that, 10 penalty points were added to his driving licence.

Misconduct Proven

At the hearing, the Chair confirmed the allegation of Discreditable Conduct as proven Misconduct, leading to the final written warning for DC Ansuh.
