Man Charged with Murder of Asante Campbell Found Stabbed in NW4

Arrest Made in Shocking NW4 Stabbing Death

Detectives have charged a man over the murder of Asante Campbell, who was found fatally stabbed in Parson Street, NW4, on Saturday, 29 February. Hafid Abdi Mohammed Omar, 19, from Orange Hill Road, Edgware, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday, 3 March.

Accused to Appear in Court

Omar was formally charged on Thursday, 5 March, and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court the same day. Police continue to investigate the brutal killing.

Victim Found After Car Crash

Officers and emergency services were called just after 9pm on 29 February following reports that a silver VW Polo had crashed into a parked car on Parson Street. Inside the Polo, they found Asante Campbell suffering from stab wounds.

He was rushed to a North London hospital but tragically died later that evening.
