Man Killed in Horror Crash on A40 Near Swakeleys Roundabout
Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash on the A40 in Hillingdon early Tuesday.
Body Found at Scene
Officers were called to reports of a body in the road near Swakeleys roundabout at 4.20am on 17 March. They discovered a man, believed to be in his twenties, dead in the carriageway.
Lorry Driver Cooperating but Not Arrested
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit from Alperton say the man was hit by a lorry. The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police. No arrests have been made.
Police Appeal for Information
A Met Police spokesman said officers were initially concerned for welfare. Detectives want anyone with info or dash-cam footage to call Alperton Traffic Garage on 020 8246 9820.
