£300k Cash and 14 Kilos of Class A Drugs Seized in North London Bust
Armed officers and Met Intelligence teams made a major haul after stopping a car in Edgware, north London.
Massive Drug and Cash Haul in Edgware
On Monday, 6 April, Specialist Crime officers joined forces with armed police to pull over a vehicle in Camrose Avenue. A search of the car uncovered a staggering 14 kilos of class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, alongside an estimated £300,000 in cash.
Two Men Arrested Over Supply Charges
A 26-year-old and a 24-year-old were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. Both remain in custody at a north London police station as enquiries continue.

“This is another fantastic example of different areas of the Met working together to crackdown on crime,” said Detective Chief Inspector Driss Hayoukane. “Drugs blight communities and ruin lives and so the Met will continue to target those responsible for bringing them onto the streets of London.”
