Gunshots Fired in Mitcham: Police Launch Urgent Probe

Detectives are on the case after shots were fired in south west London last Monday evening.

Police rushed to Fairfield Close, Mitcham, at 7.36pm on 20 July following reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, the suspects had already vanished.

Shots Fired at Group Outside Home

The bullets were reportedly aimed at a group of men outside a nearby address. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, but a property suffered damage from the shooting.

Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet

Officers in the area are ramping up patrols to reassure the community while investigations continue. So far, no arrests have been made.
