Witness Appeal After Pub Brawl at Sutton Arms, Hornchurch

Detectives are hunting witnesses following a punch-up at the Sutton Arms pub on Station Lane, Hornchurch.

Police were called at 11.10pm on Friday, 24 July after reports of a scuffle inside the boozer. By the time officers arrived, the troublemakers had vanished.

One man suffered a minor head injury but was treated at the scene.

Detectives Want Your Mobile Footage

Detective Constable Daniel Smith, who’s on the case, said:

“If you were in the Sutton Arms on 24 July around 11pm, we need to hear from you. Mobile phone footage of the fight has been shared widely online and in the press. It’s clear many people saw what happened, and we want to speak to every one of them.”

He added: “Your information could be crucial to cracking this case. If you haven’t spoken to us yet, please get in touch or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
