Armed Police Nab Four Men After Firearm Sighting in SE17
Police raced to Horsley Street, SE17 at 10.26pm on Tuesday, 25 August after reports of a firearm being seen.
Local officers and an armed response unit swiftly stopped a vehicle. A search uncovered a handgun believed to be an imitation firearm.
Four Males Arrested Over Suspected Firearm Possession
Four men aged 15, 27, 28, and 28 were arrested on suspicion of firearm possession. They were taken to a south London police station and remain in custody.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. Police enquiries are ongoing.
