New Arrests in Race to Find Kidnapped Brothers and Father
Detectives probing the shocking abduction of three brothers and their father have arrested four more men in a major breakthrough.
Four Men Nabbed in Ilford Raid
In the early hours of Friday, August 28, police swooped on an Ilford address, arresting four men aged between 21 and 41. All are suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of Bilal, Mohammed Ebrar, Mohammed Yaseen Safi, and their dad, Imran Safi.
The suspects, believed to know Imran Safi, were swiftly taken to a south London police station for intense questioning.
Search for Missing Family Intensifies
Chief Superintendent Dave Stringer, head of the South Area Basic Command Unit, urged the public to keep alert. “This latest development brings us closer to finding Imran and the children, but we still need your help,” he said.
Since the appeal went out on Thursday, over 30 calls have flooded in, with officers following every lead day and night.
“I urge anyone in Croydon and Ilford to think hard if they saw the family on the evening of August 20 or early August 21,” Stringer added.
