Thieves Steal Four Beloved Dogs From Colchester Farm

Police are hunting for four dogs snatched from a farm in Thorrington, Colchester. The theft happened between 4pm and 6.30pm on Sunday, 13 September. Intruders forced entry into kennels at the back of a farm on Hall Lane.

Four Spaniels Stolen in Brazen Raid

The missing dogs include:

  • A black Springador
  • A liver-coloured Cocker Spaniel with a white chest
  • Two liver and white Springer Spaniels

PC Matt Hall revealed: “They are all working dogs. None of them wear collars and would look uncomfortable or unhappy on a lead, as they aren’t used to it. The Springador looks like a black Labrador, and one Springer Spaniel has a mole on his left eyelid. All four are males.”

Police Plea for Witnesses

Detectives are eager to hear from anyone who spotted dogs matching this description or noticed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the theft.

PC Hall said: “No matter how small or insignificant you think your information is, please report it. It could make all the difference and help us return these dogs to their owner.”
