A 37-year-old man from Southampton has been hit with a knife possession charge following a tense incident on Millbrook Road West.
Knife Wielding Driver Sparks Alarm
Jonathan Barton, of Olive Road, faces charges after allegedly threatening a driver with a knife while behind the wheel of a Citroen Nemo van. The frightening episode unfolded at around 10.30am on Sunday, October 18.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage
Barton is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on 23 February 2021. Authorities are urging anyone who was near Millbrook Road West at the time or who might have captured the incident on dash-cam to come forward.
