Predator David Millan Jailed for Nearly 11 Years for Abuse of Three Vulnerable Teens

Horrific Crimes Uncovered at Northampton Crown Court

David Millan, from Brunswick Place in Northampton town centre, was slammed with a minimum 10 years and 8 months behind bars on Friday, November 13. The judge branded his crimes as “serious and prolonged sexual abuse” against three vulnerable children aged 14 to 16.

The 18 offences he was found guilty of include sexual activity with a child, distributing indecent images, and paying for sex with a child. Millan’s chilling abuse spanned years, and he was already being monitored by the MOSOVO (Management of Sexual or Violent Offenders) team when he was finally arrested in November 2019, following a victim’s brave report.

Judge Condemns Millan’s Lack of Remorse

Despite overwhelming evidence, Millan showed no remorse and continued to deny his guilt. His Honour Judge David Herbert didn’t hold back, saying:

“You have no shame for what you have done and you are entirely without remorse. You have trampled all over the principles of human decency.”

Victims’ Courage Praised by Police

Detective Sergeant Alison Brayfield from the MOSOVO team spoke out about the challenging investigation. She revealed how Millan groomed the parents of his victims, fooling them into trusting him as an honest man.

“Millan is a dangerous, predatory sexual deviant who hasn’t expressed a shred of remorse for his actions. I’d like to pay tribute to the courage of his three victims who bravely supported the investigation. Now that Millan is behind bars, I hope they can move on with their lives while he has plenty of time to reflect on his sickening, abhorrent behaviour.”

Millan’s conviction sends a stark warning: those who prey on children will face justice and a long time in prison.
