Land Rover Stolen in Broad Daylight
Police were called to a Hernhill property just after 5.30pm on Tuesday, 24 November 2020, where they say two men were caught loading a Land Rover Discovery onto a truck before making off.
High-Speed Chase Ends on M2
The truck carrying the stolen vehicle was spotted on the Londonbound carriageway of the M2. Officers stopped the vehicle at Farthing Corner services, putting an end to the dramatic getaway.
Three Men Arrested Over Motor Vehicle Theft
- A 59-year-old man from Maidstone and a 36-year-old from Chatham were arrested on suspicion of theft and later released on bail until 21 December 2020.
- A 28-year-old man from Chatham was also arrested and remains under investigation.
