Body Found on Railway Near Chadwell Heath
Emergency services were called out in the early hours of Tuesday after a deceased person was discovered on the railway line near Chadwell Heath station.
British Transport Police Launch Probe
Around 3am, British Transport Police were alerted to the scene. They requested back-up from the London Fire Brigade due to the difficult location of the body.
“An investigation into the death has now been launched,” confirmed police. It remains unclear if the victim was rail staff or a member of the public, or how long the body had been on the tracks.
