Police Praise Jury and Warn Against Knife Crime

“This was a very serious incident, and I am very pleased that the jury have convicted Silva of this violent offence,” said PC Jonathan Gore of Cowley police station.

“It is by good fortune that the victim did not sustain more serious injuries or worse from this mindless attack. Knife crime will not be tolerated in our communities,” he added.

“Thames Valley Police will always investigate knife-related violence and work relentlessly to bring offenders like Silva to justice.”
