Seven Arrested After Brutal Bradford Street Brawl
Chaos erupted on Hastings Street, Bradford, on Thursday afternoon as a violent fight broke out between a group of men. Police say the melee left two men stabbed and three others with head injuries.
Stabbings and Head Wounds in Shocking Street Fight
At around 3.20pm on 13 May, officers rushed to the scene after reports of an ongoing brawl. They found five injured men — two with stab wounds and three with head injuries. All were taken to hospital, but thankfully none suffered life-threatening harm.
Seven Men Arrested, Most Released on Bail
- Seven males aged between 28 and 84 were arrested over the violent disorder.
- Six have since been released on bail.
- One 29-year-old suspect was released from custody with no further action.
Police Crack Down and Seek Witnesses
“Our investigation is at an early stage. We are working hard to uncover the full circumstances,” said Chief Inspector Andy Farrell of Bradford District. “We believe this was an isolated incident but are pursuing several lines of inquiry to find those responsible. A cordon will remain in place for some time today.” “Thankfully no serious injuries were sustained, but this incident highlights the dangers of carrying weapons.”
