Teen Drug Dealer Locked Up for Two Years After Class A Bust
A 17-year-old lad from Woking faces 24 months behind bars at a detention and training centre. He pleaded guilty last week at Guildford Magistrates Court to supplying class A drugs. Surrey Police nabbed him multiple times between June 2020 and March 2021. Repeated bail breaches sealed his fate.
Nine Charges Linked to Large Drug Probe
The youth admitted to nine counts including offering to supply drugs and handling criminal property. The charges came after a major police probe targeting drug dealing in Woking and Guildford. Officers uncovered multiple phones, wraps of class A narcotics, large sums of cash, and a list of known drug users in his bedroom.
Aggressive Behaviour and Risky Moves
- Police found countless drug deal messages on his devices.
- He showed extreme aggression toward officers.
- In a dramatic moment, he swallowed a small package in front of cops and was rushed to hospital.
Woking Police Praise Sentence
“It will come as a great relief to many residents in the west of the county that this prolific offender has been sentenced to time in a detention centre,” said Woking borough commander Inspector Dave Bentley.
“Despite being on bail, he showed utter disregard for court orders and the community he lives in. We firmly believe he wouldn’t have stopped offending had he stayed on our streets.”
The teen’s jail time sends a strong message to drug dealers in the area – police mean business.
