Child Hurt in Dover Area Scooter Smash – Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a collision involving a silver Nissan Qashqai and a push-along scooter near Dover.
Crash Details
The crash happened at around 5.45pm on Thursday, 23 May, on Queens Road in Aylesham. A child crossing the road on a push scooter was struck by the Nissan. The youngster was injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
Who Saw What?
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the incident and wants anyone who was nearby to come forward. In particular, officers are keen to speak to the driver of a red estate car seen on the road at the time, as they may have vital info.
