Police were scrambled just before dawn to R Spec MX after the workshop’s security system triggered an alert. Officers, backed by multiple units and a police helicopter, swooped in on the break-in.
Van Theft Fizzles Out After High-Speed Pursuit
The workshop owners arrived minutes after the raid. Police quickly spotted the getaway van, loaded with six stolen motorcycles, cruising past Micheldever.
A hectic chase followed. The gang ditched the van in the road, switched into a 4×4, and tried to escape.
Chase Ends in Reading, But Suspects Still on the Run
Officers tracked the suspects’ 4×4 to Reading. Despite reinforcements, patrols lost the vehicle. No arrests have been made.
The garage breathed a sigh of relief after recovering all six bikes intact.
