Woman Arrested After Horror Crash on A27 Hits Pedestrian at Bus Stop
A driver has been arrested following a serious collision on the A27 Lewes Road, Brighton, late Wednesday night.
Black Jaguar Smashes Into Man Waiting at Bus Stop
At around 11.56pm on 6 September, a black Jaguar travelling southbound struck a 24-year-old local man who was waiting at a bus stop. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains in critical condition.
The Jaguar finally stopped on Barcombe Road, running parallel to the busy dual carriageway.
Driver Fails Breath Test, Held on Serious Charges
The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Reigate, Surrey, failed a roadside breath test. She was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. She remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
