Three Lorries Crash on A2 Near Whitfield Roundabout
Chaos hit the A2 coastbound carriageway when three lorries collided near the Whitfield roundabout, close to Lydden Hill. The smash happened on Friday morning at around 10.25am, bringing traffic to a standstill.
A2 Closed for Hours Amid Investigation
Kent Police swooped on the scene, joined by South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue. The A2 is shut in both directions at the roundabout and won’t reopen until at least 6.30pm while officers investigate and clear the wreckage.
Drivers face long delays and are urged to steer clear and use diversion routes.
