Officers have had numerous reports of a potentially poisonous substance at Mayflower park which has unfortunately killed multiple pigeons.
Hampshire police said;
Please avoid attending the park, especially with dogs or small children.
Police are working tirelessly with Environmental Health to make the area safe and viable again.
