Teen Brutally Attacked at Local Football Club Bash
Between 10.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, 17 August, a 17-year-old boy was viciously assaulted at a football club on Five Heads Road. The party, initially nearby, spilled onto the club’s field where the attack unfolded.
Teen Confronted, Then Mobbed and Beaten
The victim was chatting with a group when a man suddenly accused him of “bad mouthing” a 1. Minutes later, a mob of 15 to 20 males chased him to the car park gate and launched a brutal attack.
Fractured Jaw Needs Plates and Screws
The teenager was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital, where doctors treated a fractured jaw. The injury was severe enough to require two metal plates and eight screws.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
PC Chris Neal urged: “I’m appealing to anyone with information about this attack to come forward. Were you at the party? Did you see what happened?”
