Teen Shot Dead in East London Horror
Police were scrambled to Capworth Street, E10, just after 1.29am on Wednesday, 1 September, following reports of gunshots.
Officers Find Teen With Fatal Gunshot Wounds
Patrolling officers soon discovered a shooting on Beaumont Road. They found a young man, believed to be in his late teens, suffering from gunshot injuries. Officers provided urgent first aid before paramedics arrived.
Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.28am.
Investigation Underway as Police Hunt Shooter
The victim’s next of kin are being informed, with formal identification pending. A post-mortem will be carried out soon.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command have launched a full investigation. A crime scene remains in place, but no arrests have been made yet.
