Speeding Crash on Coulsdon Road Claims Driver’s Life
Officers rushed to Coulsdon Road, CR5, just after 7am on Friday, 1 October 2021, following a horrific car crash. A vehicle speeding northbound lost control, flipped over, and smashed into a wall on a residential driveway.
Driver Dies After Life-Threatening Injuries
Thankfully, no other cars were involved. The driver was rushed to St George’s Hospital in critical condition. Sadly, he was declared dead at 10.15am on Saturday morning.
Police Hunt Witnesses With Dashcam Footage
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is on the case. They want to hear from anyone driving along Coulsdon Road around 7am who might have captured the moments leading up to the crash on their dashcam.
