Teen Stabbed to Death in Twickenham Playing Field

A man is in custody after an 18-year-old was fatally stabbed in broad daylight on a Twickenham playing field.

Victim Named as Hazrat Wali

Police were called at 4:45pm on Tuesday, 12 October to reports of a stabbing on Craneford Way, Twickenham. Officers and London Ambulance Service arrived to find Hazrat Wali, from Notting Hill, suffering deadly stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital but tragically died at 5:45pm.

Investigation Underway

The suspect remains in custody at a south London police station, held on suspicion of murder. Specially trained officers are supporting Hazrat’s family.

A post-mortem is scheduled for Friday, 15 October at Kingston Mortuary.
