Blaze Breaks Out in Maidstone Home
Firefighters raced to a two-storey house on Beech Tree Road, Maidstone, after reports of a fire. They were met with thick smoke and flames pouring from first-floor windows.
High-Pressure Hoses and Height Vehicle in Action
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews battled the blaze using high-pressure hoses and main jets. A height vehicle arrived to help remove external fittings and tackle the fire from above.
Smoke Blankets Entire Top Floor
Firefighters deployed a high-pressure fan to clear smoke and fumes from the property. The fire damaged the bedroom of origin, the upstairs landing, and spread into the loft.
No Injuries as Cause is Probed
The top floor was heavily affected by smoke, but thankfully no injuries have been reported. Early indications suggest the fire was accidental in origin.
