Brutal Kidnap on A6 Near Loughborough

The shocking incident unfolded around 10:45am on 17 September 2020. Passersby alerted police after spotting 19-year-old Angel Lynn badly injured on the A6 near Loughborough. Meanwhile, multiple calls flooded in from the public who had seen something amiss on the road.

Emergency crews rushed Angel to hospital. Despite intensive care, she remains with life-changing injuries.

Chilling Account of the Kidnap

Investigation revealed Angel was forced back into a silver transit van on Loughborough Road, Mountsorrel. Bowskill, her boyfriend, grabbed her off the street and carried her into the van. Sansome was driving. The vehicle sped off.

At some point, Angel managed to exit the moving van along the A6. Both men were arrested at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspects the Tragic Fallout

“Angel is a young woman who had plans and aspirations in place and the rest of her life to look forward to,” said Detective Chief Inspector Tony Yarwood. “Because of the extent of her injuries she now faces constant medical treatment and round the clock care. Her family remain devastated by what has happened and I praise the strength and bravery they have shown and continue to demonstrate to this day. No verdict or subsequent sentence can make up for the quality of life this young woman has lost.”
