Victim Refuses to Pay Up, Ends Up Beaten

The shocking mugging unfolded at around 9.20pm on Sunday, 17 April 2022, in Margate’s Marine Gardens. A man was approached by a slim, white suspect wearing a blue body warmer who grabbed his mobile phone and wallet. The thief then demanded the victim withdraw cash from a nearby ATM.

When the victim refused, the suspect started to walk away. The victim followed, desperate to get his belongings back – but the situation quickly turned nasty. The victim was brutally assaulted on Margate High Street.

Suspect Gets Away with £100, Phone, and Credit Card

The culprit fled the scene with £100 in cash, the victim’s mobile phone, and a credit card. Police have launched a full investigation and are combing through CCTV footage to track down the attacker.
