Pub Blaze Shocker in Kent: Man Arrested for Arson
Kent Police rushed to the Tiger Moth pub on Highview Drive after fire broke out late Thursday night, 5 May 2022. The alarm came in around 11.25pm.
Damage but No Injuries
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire. However, the blaze caused significant damage to the pub’s entrance and interior, leaving the local favourite battered.
Suspect Snared the Next Day
Just 24 hours later, cops swooped on a Chatham address and arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
