After a fatal road traffic collision on Ashley Road in Leeds, police are looking for witnesses.
Officers were called at 00.18 BST this morning to reports of a collision between a white Toyota Auris and a pedestrian.
When the Toyota Auris collided with the pedestrian on the zebra crossing, it was travelling in the direction of Stanley Road.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital but later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Toyota Auris stayed at the scene to assist police with their investigation.
Officers are interested in speaking with two witnesses who were in a dark-colored car that was stopped at the Zebra crossing at the time of the incident.
