Witness Appeal After Deadly Smash
Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a fatal collision on a West Sussex carriageway. Officers want to speak especially to the occupants of a dark-coloured Ford that stopped at the scene but sped off before police arrived.
Fatal Crash Details
The accident involved a black Nissan Qashqai travelling southbound that collided with an articulated lorry. Emergency services, including West Sussex 1 and Rescue and SECAmb, rushed to the scene.
Victim Named
Tragically, the Nissan driver—a 23-year-old man from Cuckfield—was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
