Man Stabbed in Canning Town – Police Hunt Witnesses

Early Morning Attack Shakes East London

The London Ambulance Service alerted police at 5.16 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, after reports of a stabbing on Martindale Avenue, E16. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was rushed to an east London hospital in critical condition. London Air Ambulance also attended the scene.

Assault Near Mandela and Coolfin Road

Detectives believe the stabbing happened near the intersection of Mandela Road and Coolfin Road in Canning Town. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation remains active.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“We know the victim met with another male shortly before he was attacked,” said Detective Sergeant Keith Faris. “Anyone who was in the area at the time or witnessed anything – no matter how small – is urged to come forward.”
