Armed Arrests After Shock Incident in Leeds Suburb
Police are hunting for answers after a tense firearms incident near Church Road and Chapel Lane, Armley, broke out at around 3.25pm on Monday.
Three Men Now in Custody Over Firearms and Affray
- A 35-year-old man turned himself in last night and was promptly arrested.
- A 28-year-old was snapped up this morning following targeted firearms raids at two homes in Wortley.
- A 29-year-old was nabbed on Monday and charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and having ammunition. He’s now locked up, awaiting a court hearing at Leeds Magistrates.
Police Launch Full Probe, Search Scene
Officers have cordoned off the Church Road and Chapel Lane area to conduct specialist searches as investigations ramp up.
