Woman seriously hurt in Chichester crash—Police launch witness appeal
Late-night smash on Church Road
Police are hunting witnesses after a red BMW slammed into a 22-year-old woman outside a house in Chichester. The crash happened on Church Road between 1am and 1.15am on Tuesday, October 25.
Victim fights for life
The woman was left with multiple serious injuries, initially feared life-threatening. Thankfully, she is now in a stable condition in hospital.
Driver arrested for drink-driving
A 24-year-old man from Chichester was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. He’s been released on conditional bail as investigations continue.
