Youths Busted After Police Vehicles Smashed in Bradford East
Two teens have been arrested and seven vehicles seized after a spate of attacks on marked police cars in Bradford East.
Bricks Thrown at Police Vehicles
Recently, several police vehicles were targeted by offenders hurling bricks, causing serious damage and putting officers at risk.
Suspects Caught and Held
On 30 June, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old on suspicion of criminal damage. Both remain in police custody.
Police Warn: Criminal Damage Won’t Be Tolerated
Superintendent Richard Padwell of Bradford District Police said:
“Every Police vehicle off the road means fewer units available to answer emergency calls.
“It’s sheer luck no officers were hurt during these attacks.
“Today’s arrests send a clear message: criminal damage is totally unacceptable, and we will act decisively.”
