Police Release E-Fit in Teen Sexual Assault Probe
Sussex Police have launched a hunt for a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Peacehaven. The shocking attack happened on Sunday, May 7, around 8:15 PM on The Promenade near Capel Avenue.
Victim Approached by Stranger
The teenage girl reported being targeted by a stranger who sexually assaulted her. Officers with specialist training are now supporting her through this traumatic time.
Witnesses and CCTV Sought
Police have appealed for CCTV footage or any witness information to help catch the attacker. Crucially, they want to speak to a witness who interrupted the suspect during the incident. Early reports described the suspect as a white man in his 40s or 50s.
New E-Fit Released – Suspect Described as Young White Male
In a twist, the suspect’s image released today shows a white man in his early 20s, standing about 5’10”. Authorities urge anyone who recognises him to come forward immediately.
